Really I Will Do This More Often

Well, Another blog!

So whats been going on? Well Group project ate my life last week and this week has been very odd!

Firstly the group project is gone! REJOICE! Presentation went well despite the 3 hours of sleep in the previous 48 hours! Decided to celebrate by going out and getting wasted! How novel... NOT.

Started with a super-turbo shandy, moved on to reef, sambuca, aftershock, a sexy lisa (smirnoff ice and an orange bacardi breezer, try it, you'll love it :-D). Ended up not making it clubbing as Ant went home early, made it to ropewalk and discovered I also was a bit worse for where so decided my bed was a good plan. Cracking night though, we were all truly battered.

Didn't do much over the weekend, went shopping, brought it back alone :-(. Though the taxi driver was a legend and gave us a hand carrying it into the house. Watched the GP with Matt, very smug over the whole Ferrari thing, just who does this Alonso fella think he is though? messing up the 1-2 and all! Worked the bank holiday, gutted, but went out after and had a wicked time at a punk night at obsessions. Mind you, got wrecked on stella in under an hour, thank you belgium (brewed in the UK).

THis week has been fairly lazy. TECed on tuesday for AU ball. Ed is a legend, he appears to single handedly run the whole op. Had fun lugging speakers and stuff all day, feel I learnt lots. Was rather achey on wednesday though, but did enjoy myself, reminded me of doing lighting at school, only on a smaller time frame and much much bigger!

Spent Wednesday recovering sleeping. Thursday was a bit of a late riser, but peaked by going to a poker night and only losing

£1! Considering I was about £3 down at one point I consider this fairly good, I will do better next time, 1p stakes make it very hard to bluff... ;-)

Today has been a bit of a nothing day, except discovering I had a lab due! Have done most of it and will finish it over the weekend, hand in on monday to avoid losing marks. This is all rather silly though since the official deadline isn't till tuesday! but they need it in early cos the screwed up and realised they don't have enough time to mark it! FOOLS! Plus the instructions are written by 2 people and are totally confusing and really a pile of TOSS! Phew, stress over.

Spent a fair bit of time downloading tunes from artists I only have one song of in an attempt to widen my music taste. Seems to be going well. Must remind Ed to update my winamp thing so you can all see what I'm listening to.

Suppose that's it, all that looms now is REVISION on the horizon, followed by EXAMS!!!!

PS: as a subnote, the spell check seems to struggle with names of alcoholic beverages! LOL
